As part of the Firm’s Tax Department since 1997, Alan provides manufacturing, professional services, medical, retail, and tax-exempt entities with specialized tax research, planning, and advice. He offers particular expertise in taxation of executive compensation, including stock options; sales and use taxes; state, local and multi-state taxation; and clergy taxation. Other contributions include tax return quality control and educating staff on tax issues. In addition to a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bradley University and a master’s in taxation from the University of Illinois, Alan holds a bachelor’s in music from Wabash College.
Alan and his wife, Carole, live in Peoria with their three children. He serves as the Christian Center’s treasurer and is active in Peoria North Rotary.Send Alan J. Willadsen an email
