Joe is the shareholder in charge of our tax services area and is responsible for tax research. He also reviews and approves all significant positions taken by the Firm in our tax practice. He oversees our staff in income tax education and the quality control review of tax returns. Joe has considerable experience in income tax planning for individuals; corporations and partnerships; estate tax planning; business succession planning; and other areas relating to taxation.

Joe received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in taxation from DePaul University. In 1984 he became a shareholder in our Firm. He and his wife, Karen, reside in Eureka, and have three grown children, a grandson and two granddaughters. He is active in Rotary and enjoys golf, hiking and community activities.
