Russ assists clients with selection and installation of PC-based systems (hardware and software). He has detailed knowledge of Great Plains Dynamics, Open Systems, Creative Solutions, QuickBooks and other accounting software. Russ has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) Credential by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The PFS Credential, established in 1987 by the AICPA, is granted to qualified CPAs with considerable professional experience in financial planning.

Russ graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He came to Heinold-Banwart as a staff accountant and became a shareholder in 1984. Russ and his wife, Sally, live in Washington and have three children. He has been a volunteer with the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club. Russ enjoys family vacations and travel.
